• evie is now 17 lbs 12 ounces and 28.5 inches long (5th percentile)...
• she got a new carseat but will still remain rear-facing since she is not 20 lbs
• evie is understanding cause & effect and can play with a toy independently knowing exactly how it works
• she is yet to take independent steps - but is SO close
• her christmas wish did not come true yet. her two front teeth are still missing & she only has the bottom two
• evie can now give hugs & kisses when asked
• she will turn her white noise machine on & light switch off when its bedtime
• evie's favorite word this month has been mama (and i'm loving it!)
• she had her first christmas & was incredibly spoiled! :)
• evie loves to play the piano

• she will mock us (copy us) when we cough or sneeze...and then laugh hysterically afterward
• her new favorite food is blueberries
• evie bonked the bridge of her nose on the coffee table and got a nice scratch & bruise
• she is still wearing size 2 diapers and 9-12 month clothing
• evie loves throwing food over the side of her highchair and saying "uh-oh"
I REMEMBER the "uh-oh" phase. So cute! I can not get over what a peanut that girl is. Here's a little comparison. Jackson was 20lbs and in a forward facing carseat at 4 months...he was 30lbs at his one year check up. 100th percentile for height and weight. I'd love to compare those baby pictures! Evie is SOOOO precious. Happy New Year!
