#mahoney2012

we spent a long weekend up at mahoney state park again this year! i love this annual trip and this year was my favorite year. typically, the cabin is able to get wireless internet..but not this year. and i'm so thankful we didn't! we were able to chat and play and eat lots of great food without any social media distractions. it made for very special moments and great conversation.

it was the hustad/lovelace/miller's 27th annual celebration...this made my 5th year out there with them. and in that 5 years...my oh my has the family grown.

evie captured my heart this weekend. she was so curious and even let herself get a little more brave!

we spent some time at the mahoney activity center. there is an indoor play park and it was a lot of fun with the littles. evie had a blast! she was clinging to uncle jason and daddy...but she seemed to really enjoy herself and even wanted to climb higher! the adults learned that we aren't quite as young as we used to be as we tried to keep up with the kids through the obstacles...i wish someone would have had a video camera. yikes!

peyton

We are beyond blessed by this gal. Peyton is our nanny and we couldn't be more grateful for someone who loves our girls and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Since it has gotten cooler out, she has gotten a chance to take miss evie to the children's zoo a couple different times. Here are a few pictures she took one of the days they were there!

oh my.

four months old

keller grace. you bring so much joy to our lives. although its been tough watching you go from doctor's appointment to appointment...we have grown to appreciate every moment. I'm trying not to blink, sweet girl, but you are growing too fast. we can't keep up!

this past month…

• kg is now 13.4 lbs just under 25 inches long. she has grown and is now in the 50th percentile!
• just like her sister at this age, kg's hand is always in her mouth & drooly spit is always dripping out of her mouth.
• she loves her silkie made by her aunt Nicole.
• kg likes to babble, especially in the early morning hours.
• naptime usually happens three times a day.
• she has figured out how her thumb works & loves to grab everything in sight.
• kg is a social butterfly and smiles and flirts with everyone who gives her attention.
• she no longer likes to be swaddled when she sleeps.
• kg loves evie. she smiles and giggles whenever evie interacts with her. evie talks to her in her "mommy voice" and it couldn't be cuter.
• she is wearing size 1 diapers and mostly 3-6 months clothes.
• she squeals with excitement but I still think she is a tad quieter than evie was at this age.
• kg laughs when tickled
• her little arms and legs have been poked too many times to count this month but we are thankful that she continues to grow and improve everyday!
