february: the first big winter snow storm came but it didn't stop us from attending sesame street live with evie. she LOVED seeing her friends (especially elmo)
march: evie went to gymnastics at the YMCA every saturday. we had a blast. we also made a fun trip up to the omaha zoo with the harms clan.
april: april flew by as we started to count down the days for baby to arrive! evie got her new big girl room. we celebrated easter and my sister in law's threw me a baby sprinkle!
may: sweet keller grace joined us on may 23rd. words can not express the joy in our hearts.
june: while adjusting to being a family of four, we tried to spend as much time outdoors as we could.
july: we had some major highs and major lows in july. my best friend came to visit us and we loved every moment of those three days. but my mommy heart experienced a lot of pain in july. the Lord showed up in big and mighty ways. evie took a spill on the pavement and the next week we spent four days on an emotional roller coaster after keller's doctor sent us up to children's hospital of omaha. although keller was diagnosed with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, we learned to trust our heavenly father in the midst of the scariest moments we've ever experienced....oh and if that wasn't enough...erik opened a restaurant at the end of july!
august: we tried to spend as much time outside as we could as our summer and my maternity leave quickly came to a close.
september: one of my favorite months packed with football, zoo trips, mahoney and family. i love fall.
october: more fall fun at the pumpkin patch and spending quality time with our family of four.
november: we had very special visitors in november when my best friend came for another visit.
december: as always, holidays were packed with fun! we loved every moment of december as it was filled with family and lots of love!
Holy cow, Evie has grown up SO much this year!
