five months old

I'm having a very hard believing my sweet baby is five months old already. She continues to make our hearts overflow with joy and love. KG, you are the perfect baby. We thank God for you!

this past month…

• kg is now 13lbs 13 ounces just under 25 inches long...somewhere close to the 20th percentile.
• she has grown into size two diapers. she is starting to outgrown lots of clothes!
• she slept through the night several times this month but nothing consistent.
• kg enjoys playing with her colorful toys especially her butterfly and giraffe.
• naptime is hit or miss these days. keller decides which naps she wants to take (2 or 3 a day)
• she dazzles everyone with her smile.
• kg blows spit bubbles when she is uber excited.
• kg saw her GI drs and they are wry happy with how she has grown! All of the concerning numbers continue to drop!
• she is experimenting with her voice and loves to exclaim with a high pitched squeal.
• kg has the sweetest belly laugh you ever did hear.

october? already?

we took a trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend (more on that later) and what a wonderful time we had!  what's crazy...is while we were there we took our first family picture since Keller was born!  how is that possible!?!  the picture turned out so great, i immediately wanted to slap it on our family Christmas Cards and get them mailed out!

so of course, i had to start parusing Christmas cards again on tinyprints.com.  i LOVED the cards we sent out last year (although when i think back to how long ago that was...i shed a tear.  i was pregnant with KG and evie was just about to turn two).  time is going toooo quickly.  considering it is already october...christmas will be here before we know it.  that means evie will be three before i know it.  omgoodness time.  slow down.

here's the run down on my holiday card favorites.  i'm going to need some help again...because there SO many to choose from!

i can't get enough of the tri-fold.  we did this last year and i was able to blast the card with tons of pictures and write little snippets of what had happened over the year.  LOVED that feature.  i can already write what i want to tell people about...because WOW...so much has happened this year.  God is good.  these are my top three tri-folds.

this is my #1 at this point.  pretty big fan.  i'm a huge lover of bright colors!

but then this card jumps out at me because i love the simple black, white, & yellow and splashing the card with color-filled pictures!

if i decide against a tri-fold, i think i'd go one of these folded cards.

my only hesitation is i don't know if i'll have time to handwrite any notes inside of a folded card...so here are the flat cards i really like...

evie wins

evie could honestly win an award for her expressions!  peyton took evie to the zoo two times in the past couple weeks. i posted some pics earlier from their first trip but i had to share the pics she took the second time bc they crack me up...

evie always has to bring a friend to the zoo.  this time she brought her little pinguin friend.
it's very important that pinguin was in the pictures, just like mr. bunny last visit.
just hanging out
gold medal for this expression
her penguin had to have a picture of his own.  look closely.
cheeeeeeese!
well hey there!
cutest kid ever.
