spring catch all

i can't believe it has been three months since i last blogged.  so much has happened i'm not sure where to start...i basically missed all of spring.

my best friend came to visit us!  evie & keller love aunt mel and blake so much!

 

mimi and papa came to visit!

evie started swimming lessons!  she learned to love the water!

keller rocked her annual ultrasound.  her liver appears to be doing very well.  thanking God that he continues to protect little keller.

april 2014

we made a family trip up to the omaha zoo! 

and then keller got sick...again...but this was the worst sickness this year.  high fever for six days,  coughing like a seal, puking...absolutely horrible. three visits to the doctor.  a chest xray, blood draw, and 2 lbs lost.  she finally started to perk up after almost one week.

i received the CEHS staff award at work.  i work with awesome people and am lucky to enjoy what i do everyday.  my hubby came to join in on the fun too!

got to snuggle little man will for a night out.  love him.

got to celebrate this lady and her birthday.  love her.

we celebrated easter with the hustad clan and had a wonderful afternoon together despite the rain. 

oh, then we bought a house and moved.  and we are in love with our new home!  after moving 6 times in 6 years..never again.

Sickies

January. I'm so glad you are gone. The entire month was filled with sickness. Pukes. Colds. Ear infections. Sinus infections. KG had two rounds of antibiotics. Feeling like we are finally on the mend. Oofta. 

Star of the week!

Miss Evie was the star of the week at school. I spent time in her classroom at lunch an sure enjoyed sitting around the table with all of her friends. Thankful for a great preschool for her!

I spent last weekend with a bunch of amazing people. It's the start of a year long journey to find some rest and quiet. Loved my time with these amazing people.

four years old

Sweet Evie, happy birthday. How I have loved watching you this past year. You love people and know everyone by name. You remember everything and often talk about your favorite moments with your favorite people. We get to hear you talk about things you enjoy and it never gets old. You are full of life and love. You love your friends at school and know all of their favorite things as well. You, sweet girl, are completely full of joy and everyone loves being around you. 

At four years old, you love to play dress up and watch Disney movies. Your favorite foods are grapes and carrots and your favorite movies are Frozen and Little Mermaid. You have an affection for reading, candy, iPad games, dresses, purple, and princesses. You enjoy people and yet play by yourself sometimes for hours on end. You love being outside when it's nice.  At your four year checkup you weighed 32.2 lbs and were 40 inches tall.  You love to rhyme and make up silly stories. You can count to 20 on your own and even higher with help.  

You and your blankie are still inseparable you have a bed full of your favorite stuffed friends - namely bun-bun. You enjoy drawing and coloring and doing crafts. You love playdoh and baking! You get ready and dressed independently and are a bug helper when mommy needs an extra set of hands. 

You are so thoughtful with Keller and are such a protective big sis. You are always making sure she is safe. We thank God for blessing us with your kind, sweet, sensitive, feisty, passionate, and loving spirit. I love you times 1trillian682billion724million134thousand021 and then some.
