tis the season

the leaves are falling.  the sun is setting earlier.  this can only mean one thing! it's holiday season!!  i love the holidays.  so much.



many of you know i have an affection for holiday cards.  i love sending them.  i love receiving them!  last year i had a lot of fun displaying all the cards from my loved ones.  and evie loved helping me hang each new one we received.  we talked and talked about the people on the cards!  so please send me a card agin this year!!  (no pressure!)

for the past two seasons, i have chosen a tri-fold card.  so it's no wonder that these are some of my favorite designs this 2013 holiday season!  although the trifold has been my pick in the past, i am a huge fan of the flat cards shutterfly has offered.  so without further ado, my top holiday card picks of this year.  help me figure out which one to order?!

#1 - i love the bright colors of this trifold.

#2 - but i love the neutral colors with red/green accents in this trifold.

#3 - this pattern has me swooning.  i love the colors and floral accents.  big fan.  i'm pretty sure this is my favorite card.

#4 - can you tell i love this pattern?  i love it trifold, flat, whatever.  so fun.

#5 - orange is my favorite color.  so clearly this is a top fave.  my sister.in.law is a photographer, and i'm fairly certain i could have her help me pick out cute outfits to go with this amazing card.  

#6 - i've taken so many instagram pics of the girls, i could fill this card up so quickly.  i don't know how i am going to pick!

halloween #1: we spent saturday evening halloween partying over at asher & soren's  

halloween #2 (on the real halloween): we went trick or treatin' and enjoyed talking with our neighbors...evie insisted on being a bumble bee again this year.

today we spent our day out at Roca Berry Farm.  we had a blast!  it was absolutely gorgeous outside and the girls loved spending time with two of their favorites...brad and charissa!  evie enjoyed the pumpkin patch so much more this year.  so fun seeing her get so excited!!!

My dear friend Jill and her little, Cece, joined us for the final weekend at the Children's Zoo. We had the most beautiful Saturday weather and our girls had a great time exploring.  Happy to get one last day at the zoo until next season!
