Summer adventures

We ended our summer by road tripping to Adventure Land in Iowa! We had a super fun family weekend together just the four of us!  We packed in a very full two days and hit the rides and got some swimming in at the water park.  We are really loving the ages of the girls right now!!  Everything is an adventure!

We spent the weekend in Sonoma celebrating my best friend's wedding. What a wonderful girls weekend! I can't wait to celebrate with my favorite couple in September!

3rd of July

Second year in our neighborhood for the 3rd. Description: crazy, wild, loud, golf carts, block party, firework frenzy with friends.

One of my college roommates, Erin (aka Evran), got married in Kansas City a couple weeks ago. Road tripped with Steph and got to hang with little man.  Had a wonderful weekend celebrating Erin and Dane!

Erik and I surprised Melanie and Blake for their engagement party in Denver. We got to spend the day with them as well as Melanie's parents. It was so wonderful! As a bonus I got to go to a wedding planning meeting with Melanie and her mom. It's been really hard being away from my best friend and she's planning her wedding… So it was very fun to be able to go with her to at least one planning meeting.  

It was such an awesome engagement party as it was located at a cooking school called Stir. We really enjoyed our evening celebrating alongside Melanie and Blake's family and friends and cooking/eating good food and drinking good wine!

24 hours with the bestie was worth it.
